After fleeing to an idyllic Italian village in the wake of his mother’s death, Evan meets and instantly connects with the enchanting and mysterious Louise. However, Evan soon realizes that Louise has been harboring a monstrous, primordial secret that puts both their relationship and their lives in jeopardy.

I didn't like it as much as the other movies I've seen from these directors. Mostly a love story with a unique premise, but there is not much of a sense of conflict in the story and it plays out rather predictably. There is no notable antagonist or anything to create suspense. Decent but forgettable movie.

A unique story that will draw you in. Troubles, love, monsters, hope, choices, love. Watch it, it is worth it.
