South Africa 1990. Two major events are about to happen: the release of Nelson Mandela and it's John 'Spud' Milton's first year at an elite boarding school. Cursed with parents from well beyond the lunatic fringe and a dormitory full of strange new classmates, Spud has his hands full trying to adapt to his new world -- a world where his eyes are opened to love, friendship and complete insanity.

Boarding school so true to life acting world class spuds father brilliant a must see grandmother so fun yet sad in places great to watch on a Sunday night makes Monday not so depressing

I found this movie tear jerking yet smile provoking with its ups and downs it is surely the best by far

I re-watched this movie 100 times its the best, (i love troye sivan!)
