About this movie

Maggie, a single mother, moves into a new home in Brooklyn with her 12-year-old son, Oliver. Forced to work long hours, she has no choice but to leave Oliver in the care of their new neighbor, Vincent, a retired curmudgeon with a penchant for alcohol and gambling. An odd friendship soon blossoms between the improbable pair. Together with a pregnant stripper named Daka, Vincent brings Oliver along on all the stops that make up his daily routine—the race track, a strip club, and the local dive bar. Vincent helps Oliver grow to become a man, while Oliver begins to see in Vincent something that no one else is able to: a misunderstood man with a good heart. 2014 ST. V FILMS 2013 LLC. This is not an A grade movie, but certainly a high B. St. Vincent is a light hearted comedy, perfect for when you have two hours to kill, don't want to watch something deep and meaningful, yet can't make up your mind on what to watch. Don't have any expectations going into this movie and you won’t be disappointed.

What can I say a little raw and rough round the edges...'Murray' of coarse but he makes one hell of a beautiful movie. Keep some tissues handy.

Great movie, Bill Murray is awesome as usual. Got the same feel to it as Gran Turino but a bit funnier ;-P Really enjoyed it
