Laurel & Hardy, one of the world’s greatest comedy teams, set out on a variety hall tour of Britain in 1953. Diminished by age and with their golden era as the kings of Hollywood comedy now behind them, they face an uncertain future. As the charm and beauty of their performances shines through, they re-connect with their adoring fans. Even as the tour becomes a hit, Stan & Ollie can’t quite shake the specter of Laurel & Hardy’s past; the long-buried ghosts, coupled with Oliver’s failing health, start to threaten their precious partnership. A portrait of the most tender and poignant of creative marriages, they are aware that they may be approaching their swan song, trying to rediscover just how much they mean to each other.

@Cat Also watching these growing up, with my father though- along with many other classics I grew to appreciate, helps me feel closer to him when I watch 'em. So... I'm not exactly certain, and's I'm assuming you've tried all the main Movie and's TV Apps (Hulu, Netflix, Etc.), buuuuut YouTube has a lot of them available for free. They also offer specific movies for sale from $1.99. Search 'Laurel and Hardy Full Movies' in YouTube's search bar, and's BAM! Hope that helps chase your nostalgia :)

These guys were long dead before I was born, but I'd watch these movies with my grandmother.... and I remember at the time being only mildly interested, mostly bored. Now though, as I look back, I file this in with my Good Memories.

Best movie I've seen in a long time, and I'm usually a sci-fi, adventure guy. I only remember them from the comedy shorts on Saturday mornings, and because my Dad got a kick out them. Truly a healt-felt, engaging story about two world-famous comedians in the twlight of their careers. Coogan and Reilly go beyond merely impersonating their likenesses on film and stage, they bring them back to life again. Avengers has nothing on this. This is good work.
