The fate of the galaxy rests in the hands of bitter rivals. One, James Kirk, is a delinquent, thrill-seeking Iowa farm boy. The other, Spock, was raised in a logic-based society that rejects all emotion. As fiery instinct clashes with calm reason, their unlikely but powerful partnership is the only thing capable of leading their crew through unimaginable danger, boldly going where no one has gone before.

I enjoyed the movie. I think when a remake is done then, it should be of its own ideas. With that in mind Nemoy did an excellent job. I am a trekkie, and I love movies. If the movie was like the 1060's then we would all go to sleep halfway through. ♥️🍀🐈

Terrible acting, bad plot, like last three Star Wars movies, not worth it even if you watch it free. Might as well rename them all Star Dumb.

I'm watching currently Star Trek (2009) after watching the entire original series, the cartoon, and the first six movies, and I am catching way too many differences XD They did really good connecting stuff from the original series and movies and Nimoy did very well with casting, but bleh, the ships look too advanced and everything happens too fast to occur some 20 years before the original, meh 😕 Otherwise, really good movie for any diehard Trekkie to see at least once, just a few flaws.
