A massive alien presence of enormous power enters Federation space destroying three powerful Klingon cruisers and neutralizing everything in its path. As it heads towards Earth, Admiral James T. Despite a slow jogging pace, leading to a boring first half, the story starts to pick up in the second half. The Visual Effects look great but they overshadow the rest of the movie. The lack of action & characterizations may be odd at first but these aspects suited the film.
