If you thought the prequels were bad, wait tell you watch Last Jedi. The worst Star Wars film of them all (possibly worse than the Christmas Special). Luke refusing to help his friends and family. Luke technically lost the fight against Rey, and dies. Horrible character build up for Rey (unless you liked Rey's parents being "nobodies"). Canto Bight was the pointless and frustrating to watch. So much more, but not enough room to fill. Rian Johnson's vision for Last Jedi was his own. Not for the fans. Not for continuation. This was his story alone, which ripped the heart of Star Wars.

This is not a bad Start Wars movie. It's a terrible movie. It just happens
to be a Star Wars movie. The plot was too over the top. There were segments
of the movie that broke the pacing of the movie (such as the casino
scenes). These scenes really could have been cut. At to times, the film
tried too hard to be funny when it was really unnecessarily. From a Star
Wars perspective, some characters did things that didn't seem consistent
with their past actions. I usually try not to stop movies before the end.
This movie was exceptionally difficult to finish. If it wasn't a Star Wars
movie, I probably wouldn't have made it through. I cannot recommend this
movie to anyone.

I could take the time to write a real review but this was not worth it. Disney...just like George has bastardized my childhood. George with his "specialized" versions and now Disney with it's "current with the times and oh so much like Guardians of the Galaxy". The movie is filled with stupid one liners and characters I could not care less about. I have only walked out on one movie in my life and this almost became the second. Do not support the bastardization of what we thought was great.
