Not what everyone was expecting after 16 years but the visual feast was mostly worth the style over content approach of Lucas. John Williams once again came to the rescue with a brilliant musical score to save a plot riddled with holes. Deserved better with such a gifted cast but regardless the action and entertainment mostly delivers as well as potential for the trilogy to do better next time.. unfortunately it didn't. 😐👍🏾

Not just a bad Star Wars film but a travesty of film making in general. Terrible, convoluted and mind numbingly boring plot that has no relevance to anything. Great actors throughout but the dialogue and script is so 'hammy' and artificial it actually hurts to listen to... The only reason to watch this is Darth Maul; an interesting character that could've have evolved into something much more (and did eventually in The Clone Wars TV show) but they kill him off straight away. Wasted...

not bad but not great. qui gon is a great character Liam neeson is great.ewan McGregor is good as obi wan but some of his lines are hard to listen to.Darth maul is the best part of the movie.it's a shame they kill him off he's still in the clone wars but he'd be a good rival to Anakin. If maul was in the other the other movies it might have been fun to watch him battle with Anakin for the emperor's approval
