If you are a fan of star wars you have to watch it to see how it ends, but boy did they make it hard work to watch. A lot of effort went into special effects and slow shots with musical backing, not much much effort went into the acting or the story (which is very easy to follow, don't worry). There should have been some respect for the work that went into the beginnings of the franchise, but they skipped that. Oh well, it's over now, watch it when it makes it to free TV and it's good value

Utter garbage. Big fan of the original 6. But this isn't even a well made film (really disliked The Last Jedi due to the story choices but at least it was well made and acted). This is filled with bad acting, choppy editing, awful pacing, ridiculously staged action with no drama or sense of excitement and a pathetic amount of attempts to appeal to the Star Wars fanboy (me) by repeating classic dialogue. 🙄 Watched half of it. Didn't bother with the rest. Shame as the actors were good in the 1st.

Basically the ruining of a lifelong saga of great movies. The final 'Trilogy' which wasnt needed nor wanted, a trilogy that itself dosent know what it wanted to be, a messy hodgepodge of misguided movies that are badly glued together ideas and unfathomable plot directions that are tried to be repaired in this last instalment using nostalgia and paid fan service. Instead of trying use the old cast to hand over to a new saga, they tried to reinvent starwars and failed. It's just bad.
