This trilogy is the first trilogy all over again! Almost scared to change the script in any way. Sitting through jar jar changed the feeling and comfort feeling that the originals have always given me. Great the see Palpatine back.p.s. just because they have endless special affect capabilities doesn't mean you have to use it to invent cute, annoying birds which are just lame.

The prequels blow but at least they're good meme fodder and the (VERY) broad strokes make sense, the entire sequel trilogy makes absolutely no sense from start to finish and makes everything that happened before it all of a sudden meaningless. Every movie has too many "wait.. what? How?" Moments and it hurts to know what a wasted opportunity this was. Tldr: Utter garbage.

The writers and directors of this trilogy don't get star wars. We had one opportunity to use the original characters and now we have lost it forever and all we have are these tragic films to remember them. Scrap them from history, remove them from the star wars brand.
