In Hopes of wooing a beautiful girl (Sienna Miller), Tristan (Charlie Cox) promises to bring her a falling star. But he's in for the adventure of his life when he discovers the star is actually a celestial beauty named Yvaine (Danes). When an old witch Lamia (Pfeiffer) attempts to steal Yvaine's youth, Tristan must protect her at all costs. great film got to be a part of my top ten favourite films mind the fact that it portrays women as objects, witches except this is a film about one "boy becoming a man" in which the protagonist goes on an epic quest to win the girl of his dreams. a true masterpiece

Really love this movie, reminds me a lot of the princess bride, sorta wish there was a spinoff movie with de niro's Captain Shakespeare character

That was tremendously good fun! And romantic, and beautiful to look at, and has great messages! Excellent family film.
