When an old witch Lamia (Pfeiffer) attempts to steal Yvaine's youth, Tristan must protect her at all costs. great film got to be a part of my top ten favourite films mind the fact that it portrays women as objects, witches except this is a film about one "boy becoming a man" in which the protagonist goes on an epic quest to win the girl of his dreams. a true masterpiece

That was tremendously good fun! And romantic, and beautiful to look at, and has great messages! Excellent family film.

Really love this movie, reminds me a lot of the princess bride, sorta wish there was a spinoff movie with de niro's Captain Shakespeare character
