I love all sci-fi. A good tongue in cheek grade B movie can be awesome. This ain't that. Worst movie ever. The script had to have been written by a monkey with a keyboard. The actors could not get roles in their neighborhood dinner theatre. However, the special effects and CG were awesome...if this was the year 1967. I take that back, Barbarella had better CG. The only good part was identifying how many items in the cockpit of the starship that I could match to model numbers on the home depot website in the plumbing and electrical aisles. I picked out 14. Seriously who would have wasted the money to produce this thing. it needs to be possible to have zero stars...

I will start by saying this is an awful movie. We actually had to take breaks in order to finish it out. However, if you like trashy and horrible sci-fi, then this is worth a $3 rental. We enjoyed making snarky comments and speculating if the story was based on someone's RPG game or if the producer removed every 5th page from the script as a cost cutting measure. We all agreed that the script writing, direction, and acting were generally horrible, but that's part of it's charm (like an old dog that farts and then barks at his own butt because he doesn't understand what's happening). We will totally rent the sequel.

Ok let's start with the obvious. They didnt have anything for a budget on this film. They used a Saitek Combat HOTAS PC joystick for the flightstick on the bridge of the ship. I'd have picked something less recognizeable, but ok. Then they used paintball masks for "breathers", on a ship thats lost cabin pressure in space. Clearly, noone did any research into what happens to the human body in space when not protected with a spacesuit. Then there was the script. Even the actors and actresses seemed confused a
