In this mind-bending psychological thriller, college student Henry Lethem (Ryan Gosling) plans to kill himself in three days, unless psychologist Sam Foster (Ewan McGregor) can save him. As it says on the tin: a mind bending psychological thriller. The bad reviews lowered expectations and I quite enjoyed it. They overdid the askew camera angles but it was a compelling and satisfying watch, and quite stylish in its own way. Worth a look. If you avoid spoilers, it's even worth a second look while you're renting.
