A CLASSIC! I was in 6th grade when this movie came out and have loved it ever since. A beautiful, funny, tragic story of 6 women told in that uniquely simple plain-spoken voice that only Southerners can seem to master.

I'm 15 and everyone in my family sits down and shuts up when it's on tv such a great movie they should make a second to see what happens next

This movie came out 4yrs before I was born and it is still one of my top favorite movies of all time. It's also one of my mother's favorite and the inspiration for my middle name Shelby.
