Based on the true story of rapper Grand Corps Malade and his road to recovery, the film follows Ben and a motley crew of inpatients of a physiotherapy center as they wrangle to come to terms with their new reality and navigate the daily frustrations and indignities of life on the ward – at the mercy of well-meaning but impossibly awkward staff. In the midst of this shambles, humor and ridicule are the willful band’s currency. Together they spin shortcomings into running jokes, coaxing comedy out the unspeakable.
