The early 90s. Most of the 2 screen movie theaters, so popular in the 80s, that were still able went the 2nd run route. They showed films that had already been in the major cineplex awhile. They charged $1per person. These theaters were in such disrepair. Chairs falling apart; the auditoriums, stinking of mildew and sticky with old confections. Neverless, these tired movie palaces were a hit and profited for a few years before finally biting the dust & that's where I first saw Graveyard Shift 💯
