About this movie

Academy Award®-winning director Alex Gibney [Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief] pulls no punches in his portrait of Apple founder Steve Jobs and his legacy. This probing and unflinching look at the life and aftermath of the bold, brilliant and at times ruthless iconoclast explores what accounted for the grief of so many when he died.

Don't quite know what he "invented" in his garage but its quite clear that it was a stolen technology. I guess I'm just tired of seeing the same junk pushed as new year in and year out. Or, lets borrow someone else's concept and put a half eaten apple on it and call it new.

Nothing unknown or revolutionary in the Apple/Jobs saga revealed, little long and slow, and the attempt to remain unbiased leaves the viewer wondering why they bothered, I ended no wiser or without any fodder for discussion, just with a recap of what I already knew. In ten years it will find its place as prologue for those who didn't live the decades, but until then its no more than a greatest hits clip compilation.

He's nothing but an innovator. People treat him like some genius inventor but he didn't even invent Apple's basic OS. Apple just makes toys compared to Microsoft. Only reason to ever buy an Apple PC is if you're some kind of artist.
