When doctor Edward Newgate (Jim Sturgess) arrives at Stonehearst Asylum in search of an apprenticeship, he is intrigued by superintendent Dr. Lamb's (Ben Kingsley) modern methods of treating the insane until a series of unusual events lead him to make a horrifying discovery, pushing Edward to the limits of his conscience. Directed by Brad Anderson (The Call), Stonehearst Asylum is a tale in which nobody is who, or what they appear to be.

Isn't an enjoyable movie. Has a nice little twist at the end

Well done. Good escape. Story with a twist. And that Kate Beckinsale... :)
