White washing our history should never be celebrated or encouraged. This is Hollywood garbage that ignores the true stories of the people who actually are responsible for so much of our rights and civil liberties today. It's a shame Mister Emmerich didn't think to respect the community before attempting to rewrite our history with this insidious heap.

I love this movie my mom and the rest wasn't very into it but that's because they don't understand what it's like this movie made me think about a lot of things and I don't think they did a bad job with the casting wat do u expect Brad Pitt this movie isn't supposed to be the type of movie that makes u jump out of ur seat when a hot guy appears it's a true story that's supposed to tell u the story about how and why there was a riot that simple so u give it one star all because of the casting that's pathetic

This is a terrible movie in terms of historical "facts." Majority of the drag queens that started the stone wall riots were of some minority race.
