Over deze film

Passions and politics make a volatile mix in this dynamic drama directed by Roland Emmerich (INDEPENDENCE DAY) that follows the groundbreaking events that led to the birth of the modern Gay Rights movement, in 1969, at New York City's Stonewall Inn. Starring Jeremy Irvine, Johnathan Rhys Meyers, and Golden Globe® winner Ron Perlman.

White washing our history should never be celebrated or encouraged. This is Hollywood garbage that ignores the true stories of the people who actually are responsible for so much of our rights and civil liberties today. It's a shame Mister Emmerich didn't think to respect the community before attempting to rewrite our history with this insidious heap.

No historical facts shown in a historical film, was out of theaters after 2 wks, should never have been made or at least more historically correct

This is a terrible movie in terms of historical "facts." Majority of the drag queens that started the stone wall riots were of some minority race.
