Այս ֆիլմի մասին

Stop Making Sense is director Jonathan Demme's remarkable concert film that captures the enormous energy and joyous highs of the Talking Heads live performance. Band members David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz and Jerry Harrison are joined by Bernie Worrell, Alex Weir, Steve Scales, Lynn Mabry and Edna Holt in this groundbreaking concert film that is packed with the Talking Heads most memorable songs. Wall-to-wall music, beautiful cinematography and the legendary "Big Suit" make this "one of the greatest rock movies ever made" (Rolling Stone).

Best purchase I have ever made, no joke. You will laugh, cry, feel compelled enough to get up and dance. Turn any standard night into an adventure. These energetic performers along side of wicked sharp direction equals cinematic genius. You can go ahead and throw all other entertainment in the garbage after purchasing this beaut.

This filmed version of the Talking Heads 'Stop Making Sense' performance is amazing! I recently heard about this by chance about 5 months ago (in a list about the greatest films from the 80's), then saw it on a sale and gave it a try and I'm so glad I did. For something that's nearly 40 years old, it's still full of contagious energy, entertaining music, and inspirational surprises. A must watch and highly recommended!

Stop Making Sense is a brilliant concert film. One of the best. I've had the urge to buy it recently, and then got wind of this 30th anniversary refresh and re-release. So I bought it in HD just now, on the day of release, only to play the first few minutes via Chromecast and learn that the $15 HD version only has stereo audio. Is this Google's content team's fault? Or the studio's fault? I'd like to think that people are buying this release because of the surround re-mix and great image quality - so it's a real bummer. I will say that there's never any rhyme or reason to whether or not Play Movie content has stereo or surround audio. I think I'm going to get a refund and buy it elsewhere. Edit - This may have been my mistake. I don't recall seeing Stop Making Sense in the Play Store before today, so I assumed this was the remaster when I looked today and it was available. I got a refund without issue and will gladly purchase the Anniversary reissue when it becomes available.
