Walt Disney Animation Studios' original action-packed comedy adventure, "Strange World," introduces us to three generations of the legendary Clade family as they attempt to band together and navigate an uncharted, treacherous land beneath their world. The voice cast includes Jake Gyllenhaal as Searcher Clade, a family man who finds himself out of his element on an unpredictable mission; Dennis Quaid as Searcher's larger-than-life explorer father, Jaeger; Jaboukie Young-White as Searcher's 16-year-old son, Ethan, who secretly stows away in search of the adventure he's always wanted; Gabrielle Union as Meridian Clade, an accomplished pilot and Searcher's partner in all things; and Lucy Liu as Callisto Mal, Avalonia's fearless leader who spearheads the exploration into the strange world. "Strange World" is helmed by director Don Hall and co-director/writer Qui Nguyen, and produced by Roy Conli.

A gorgeous movie about exploration and a family learning to cope with children wanting to take different paths as they grow up. I wish these characters could be explored further but they are very distinct with personalities where I laughed and felt moved. It feels in the vain of Disney adventure movies I saw as a kid (Atlantis and Treasure Planet) with the style of 1930s serials. It also feels inspired by Fantastic Planet and many other animated films. It's worth a watch with your family.

Bourré de clichés et de signaux démagos. Fort dommage car l'idée aurait pu être intéressante. Il n'y à pas un détail qui ne soit pas moralisateur. A croire que les scénaristes ont simplement cochés toutes les cases de la bien-pensance. Je n'ai pas réussi à terminer le visionnage ... Dommage ...

This film is a WOKE piece of Trash. It falls in the category of pushing identity politics and "The Narrative". The characters, aside from being check marks of "Diversity" are dull and forgettable. Nothing else stands out about this film aside from "The Message". There are certainly better films than this to watch. Don't waste your time on this, Go watch Treasure Planet or Atlantis The Lost Empire. Those are at least better and more memorable adventures. SKIP THIS ONE OUT!
