About this movie

Ross (Ross Patterson) and his out-of-work girlfriend, Lindsay (Tara Reid), are down on their luck until their stoner roommate suggests they hit the highway as as a professional bowling team. Suited up as polyester pimps "Ross Vegas" and "Lil' Reno", the trio takes the alleys and gutters of the professional bowling tour by storm.

This movie has nothing to do with Bigfoot the monster truck.... With that said, Strike is the story of an aspiring actor who is a great bowler and enjoys it in his time off. Unfortunately, acting hasn't panned out but someone talks him into joining the PBA tour and he joins as a character in hopes of getting a real acting job. Hilarity....if you want to call it that....ensues. If you want a movie about bowling that is better, go to The Big Lebowski. This movie is horrendous. Tara Reid just looks way more spaced out than normal in this one and while I did enjoy it, there were many scenes that just annoyed me. It also gives a bad depiction of the PBA. While the PBA does visit their share of Podunk towns, they surely don't care near as much about their image as the PBA depicted in the movie. Overall, not a bad popcorn movie but it's also one I can't show my son (an avid bowler) until he's older (similar to The Big Lebowski).

It was so bad I just fast forwarded through most of it till I couldn't take it any more and just stopped it. Tara Reid is a horrible actress. Acting skills of a porn movie.
