Kumail Nanjiani & Dave Bautista had the personality and chemistry but the screenplay was pure absurd and just got dumb and dumber as it went along. If you enjoy poorly written mindless Hollywood action-comedy pablum, you might like it but I had to fast forward several times. I don't recommend buying; rent at 99 cents if possible.

Kumail Nanjiani just beat out Jar Jar Binks for being the most annoying character I have ever witnessed in a movie. I would give the movie 2.5 stars if he was not in it; then the movie would at least be worth putting on for background noise while you are folding laundry or opening mail but not worth watching, if you are going to pop some popcorn and sit down to give it your undivided attention. The humor is so lame in this movie but I like Dave Bautista.

Excellent performances by Nanjiani asked Bautista are held back by a cringe-worthy script. If you can damage enough brain cells with booze, it's a reasonably fun movie.
