The Doctor uses a truth serum on her and confirms his suspicions that her "hallucinations" are indeed fact. Elizabeth Taylor played a great part in this film. You could see how natural herself and Montgomery Clift were when acting together, you could see how close they were in real life not just on screen. It showed how comfortable they were with each other. What a lovely film.
