I think they did a great job of representing real life events in this movie. I appreciate the fact that they didn't over do any of the events here. Everything seemed super realistic and I didn't leave with thinking any part of this movie was given the "movie tough." (making things more dramatic then they were or need to be) The ending was super clean. I am left wondering if the Captain's state of mind was fully represented. I'm sure he was going through a lot as was his family but in aims to fit the touches of the broader scope not everything was delved into with great depth. At the same time the glimpses of the emotional state of the characters in this movie gave enough to the viewer to understand it.

Passable. Watching Tom Hanks is a pleasure, and Aaron Eckhart is good. But the film is shallow, and the script loaded with platitudes and self-aggrandizing ("loosing two engines at a lower altitude than any jet has ever lost them", I doubt anyone fact checked that). I say none of to minimize the miracle that happened that January 15. But the movie is just OK.

Sully was the BEST movie that I ever seen in my life. There just are no words that can explain how great this move is. It isn't just a movie, it was the remake of an actual even which took place on Thurs. Jan. 15 2009. What they did on that day, it is called plan ahead, keep calm and do not panic. Most and foremost, fly the aircraft. I was on final, coming into ACY, under VFR and lost thrust on both my engines, due to faulty fuel valve. I glided the A350 right in and made a safe and smooth landing.
