Interesting movie and well acted. Amazing feat of airmanship by the pilots. As an amateur pilot who has flown the B 737-800 sim several times I was interested in the Airbus sim. All of the clips shown had the pilot in command handling the throttles and on one occasion using reverse thrust on the landing. All of the shots had simulator engine sounds of throttling up and down. How is this achieved when both engines are out? It does not make any sense. I have made several dead-stick landings in both real and simulated flight conditions. If the fire is out, the throttles are not worth holding on to.

Tom Hanks is an incredible actor I grew up with most of his films and loved them all. This film is very well thought out and very enjoyable. The only thing I did pick up on about this film was, I felt that when the plane hit the water it was to rushed I mean they where up there for seconds and then it happened. I would of much preferred for this scene to take place a little later rather than few seconds into the scene. This it is still a great film. Keep up the good acting TOM.

Stunningly good film. It had me crying, it had me laughing. Above all an excellent documentary portrayal of real events without all the silly 'dramatisation' that so often ruins such films.
