5 stars for the movie. It is THE absolute BEST, MOST PERFECT movie adaptation of a comic book EVER (followed by the Tobey Maguire Spiderman movie.) But only 2 stars on a technical issue - when I first bought this on Google Play Store I was able to play this movie on ALL of my devices. But now I can ONLY play this movie on my PC. It will no longer play on ANY other device - not even my Samsung tablet. This issue has begun affect other purchases from Google Play Store, too - more and more movies no longer play on ANY of my other devices - ONLY my PC.

I wanna get this version so badly! Already have the original theatrical cut on DVD (for $5 @ Walmart, I got my money's worth! 😊) But this one here seems to be in a league of its own! Loved this film since I was a kid, and still enjoy it to this day, despite its flaws and occasional campy bits. But the great performances from Christopher Reeve, Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman, and Margot Kidder, along with John Williams' iconic score puts this beloved classic on a grand scale of EPIC proportions!

I just purchased this cut of Superman The Movie, and after reading mostly favorable and positive reviews, I have to say that I. Am. IMPRESSED. Superman The Movie is the first movie that I can remember seeing in the theaters. I was 2 1/2 years old, and loved it. This version was shown on tv when I was five, and I have to say that after viewing this cut, this is THE version. Why they cut this movie up makes no sense. This cut belongs in every list and collection with Ben Hur and Gone With The Wind.
