Efter at hans bror Mathias blev hårdt såret i et fejlslagent røveri, følger Jamie efter traumelægen Rich fra sygehuset til hans hjem. Mens Jamie holder Richs kone og datter som gidsler, bliver Rich tvunget til at operere Mathias. Men for at han og familien skal overleve natten, må Rich få fat i sin far, den pensionerede sherif Frank, som må tage over og redde resten af familien.

I am not sure how they managed to make this movie both completely predictable and impossible to understand what the story was about. Everyone just made irrational, incompetent and stupid decisions the entire time, starting with the lip job the actress playing the wife got right before shooting. Very stupid movie, I could not even finish, as I physically felt my IQ dropping with every minute. I greew up loving Bruce Willis and it was very sad to see him sell out like that...
