More on the psychological side of thriller, most of the movie revolves around Hunter and her identity beyond being a housewife. It genuinely surprised and kept me enthralled from beginning to end. The cinematography, sound design and original score are all paired perfectly together to create eerie ambient scenes - there isn't much dialogue but when there is it is impactful and important. Haley Bennett, who portrayed Hunter, did a phenomenal job at conveying how someone with this compulsion might feel and the sort of desperate, quiet anxiety that builds up. There is a very strong feminist message here, definitely worth a watch if you're into well-made 'American Dream' horror.

I thought this movie was definitely strange but it made me curious to watch from the review of the movie trailer. I would not list it as a horror movie. If you are bored and there is nothing else to watch do not wast your 6.99 it should have been 1.99.
