About this movie

1970s Australia: A 200-ton blue whale washes up on the beach and the kids think it's the biggest thing that's ever happened. Behind closed doors, the Mums and Dads of this quiet suburban culdesac celebrate in their own way, by joining the sexual revolution. It’s a time of boxed wine, bad hair, styles and choices, but good times. And like the rotting whale, it's all about to go spectacularly wrong.

Clearly written by someone WHO WASN'T THERE! Very dissapointed in this. I expected WAY more considering the cast but it was pretty bad. Full of un-convincing characters and plot that jumps all over the place. it seems it couldnt decide if it was a comedy about life in the 70's or a silly farce (which is how it ended) A bunch of 70's props so obviously placed in shot does not make a house fit the period. Viagra wasn't around then so how can you make reference to it? nup.. Give it a miss..

Could'nt watch this movie all the way through. Really disappointing with a very unrealistic story line. Was hoping for so much better given the cast that performed in it. A big zero out ten from me.

I think that it's wrong that actors make a movie just for the "fun" of it. They forget that people pay to see movies they make. If that is the best that script writers can come up with, then why bother? They should get another job. This cost me money to watch and it was absolute rubbish. Nothing funny or clever about it at all and puts Aussies in a bad light. We are not all wankers like the ones portrayed in this movie. Very disappointing.
