Went in not knowing what to expect. Not really a fan of Daniel Radcliffe's either. However, tremendous respect is felt for pulling off a movie about a delusional harmless schmuck and his talking cadaver. The film stayed interesting considering it was mainly the two actors for most of it. Paul Dano isn't a spectacular actor, but continues to grow in talent as he continues to take new roles. Daniel has a natural skill with captivating audiences no matter what he plays, he always manages to nail it. The humor and script was loony, and might have been lost on some audiences, but for those it was intended, the story was executed well and kept the intended demographic audience riveted.

Very good and fun original movie, this is Cast Away with Weekends at Bernie, though this movie is not for everyone, I had a blast watching this and the music deserve an oscar. I never liked Daniel Radcliffe, but seeing him in this, you don't see Harry Potter, You see Manny the Farting corpse . Viewer discretion there's a lot of farting!

This is an unusual movie, I haven't seen it, but want to. For a rental me it's OK. But I think it might deserve to be seen a few times to see if there is anything deeper in it. As a Sundance viewership and enjoyment of their unique genfes are more important than profits. ...At least that's what they say. So why not keep the price more representative of the Sundance credo.
