Film honi buruz

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles return in an all-new CGI action adventure, written and directed by Kevin Munroe. After the defeat of their old arch nemesis, The Shredder, the Turtles have grown apart as a family. Struggling to keep them together, their rat sensei, Splinter (Mako), becomes worried when strange things begin to brew in New York City. Tech-industrialist Maximillian J. Winters (Patrick Stewart) is raising up an army of ancient monsters, and only one super-ninja fighting team can stop them-- Leonardo (James Arnold Taylor), Michelangelo (Mikey Kelley), Donatello (Mitchell Whitfield) and Raphael (Nolan North)! With the help of old allies April O'Neil (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Casey Jones (Chris Evans), the Turtles are in for the fight of their lives as they once again must face the mysterious Foot Clan, who have put their own ninja skills behind Winters' endeavors. Honestly, I liked this show and most things about it, but with such a serious flaw as April and Jones living together as boyfriend and girlfriend (remember this has a target audience of young children), I can't rate it high. I can't encourage such huge mistakes in family-oriented entertainment. In most family-acceptable entertainment real quality is the main factor in popularity, however, with this film, a clever plot development, a satisfying ending, and much improved CGI over the animated TV series it is a sequel to all just aren't enough when one has to deal with an immoral living situation as an unavoidable part of the movie. In order to rate this movie only on quality, it would have to be a personal copy edited to remove all the objectionable scenes. Then, I wolud assume this would be worthy of a 4 to 5 out of 5 rating, since it is a kid's favorite Nickelodeon TV show made well as a movie.

Feels so much like the current nickelodeon cartoons that this could have been a pilot movie for them. However, there are a couple things I dont like about it. First off, like the third TMNT film, there are no established villains like Shredder, Kraang, or Beebop and Rocksteady. Second, Splinter looks more like a fox than a human sized rat. Last but not least, the films tone and mood doesnt feel like that of a TMNT film. Also, the whole interplanetary plot was ridiculous. Alright but probably nothing I'll ever watch again.

First off, the people claiming to be "huge fans" of Ninja Turtles most definitely aren't. This movie was their introduction to the franchise then decided to watch a handful of the original cartoon series and maybe the 1990 live action movie. Then bought a couple of shirts that they wore once and have been sitting in their closet for the past 10+ years and suddenly they're "the world's biggest fans". If you rated this 5 stars, you're not a Ninja Turtles fan. You're just nostalgia junkies!
