Tungkol sa pelikulang ito
In the 1950s, Tab Hunter is number one at the box office and number one on the music charts. He is Hollywood's most sought-after star and America's boy next door. Natalie Wood, Debbie Reynolds and Sophia Loren are just a few of the actresses he is romantically linked to. Nothing, it seems, can damage Tab Hunter's career. Nothing, that is, except for the fact that Tab Hunter is secretly gay.

This is no cheesy Hollywood expose. I was stunned to see such a complex and bright man behind the pretty boy facade so many of us grew up with. I watched it out of curiosity and wound up enjoying it immensely. His closeted gay history was a core part of the story, but the movie was more than that, just like he was more than that. Nice job, great footage. I was never a great fan of the Tab Hunter star machine. I wish we had known more then.

I liked the documentary. Its just that when I read the description, it made it sound like there would be more sexuality involved. There wasn't. His life was interesting enough, so I enjoyed it apart from how it was marketed. Note, this movie isn't really about sexuality to me but about the acting industry and other fellow actors. Sure, there was sexuality, but it was shaded by everything else.

Honest, sweet and confirmation of what we all know about how hard it was to be gay in 50's Hollywood. What a good man. Really enjoyed what ultimately is a love story with a happy ending.
