Melissa McCarthy et Susan Sarandon jouent dans cette comédie désopilante.

Ce n'est pas la journée de Tammy (McCarthy). Son épave de voiture ne veut plus marcher, elle vient de perdre son travail ingrat dans un restaurant à hamburgers graisseux et, en rentrant chez elle, plutôt que de trouver du réconfort, elle retrouve son mari dans les bras de la voisine sous son propre toit.

Elle décide donc de faire ses bagages et de partir. Malheureusement, elle n'a ni argent, ni voiture. Pire encore : sa seule option est sa grand-mère, Pearl (Sarandon), qui possède une voiture, de l'argent et une envie folle de voir les chutes du Niagara. Ce n'est pas l'escapade que Tammy avait en tête. Cependant, prendre la route avec sa grand-mère comme copilote est peut-être exactement ce dont Tammy a besoin.

A total waste of time. Pointless...weak plot & bad acting. I don't know how on Earth Ms. McCarthy ever got on the silver screen. I would rather watch maggots mate than endure the agony of this terrible film again. This film rates with Blair Witch and I Spit on Your Grave. Not a single moment of entertainment for me was found in this terrible production. In a word: gross.

Saw this in the theatre, very disappointing! Such a talented and funny actor, but this movie did not depict that. Would have had a better time watching reruns of her show.

Laughed thru the whole movie so did my boyfriend if your not expecting it to be bridesmaids or heat then it's really good glad I have it a chance after reading some of the negative reviews
