Four baby turtles come in contact with a mysterious substance called ooze and then are transformed into human sized crime fighters. The leader of the turtles is a human size rat who has come into contact with the same green ooze. The rat was a former pet of a ninja master and therefore uses his skills to train the four turtles in martial arts. They befriend a local journalist and with her help attempt to find the group behind a crime wave in New York City.

If you notice, every fun, raunchy, violent, or overly male film, now has a low tomato score. Don't even look at it. Actually look at the Low reviews. And notice they are all old people (60 and over) or liberal cry babies calling it all misogyny. Of you meet one, tell them to shut up, and go enjoy yourself these movies that are a far cry better than anything today.

Don't listen to the low rated reviewers they just young bloods who are interested the present time generated computer film that doesn't care the 80s or 90s milf. If u were born on the 80s than u may understand back then directors did their best and didn't have the technology what we have now to make awesome movies,so stop wining and appreciate the time it was made...

This is possibly my favorite of the TMNT films. It was darker, more violent, they cursed. This is what TMNT is about. It's the most faithful to the comics. The fight scenes (especially in the apartment) were on point. They also did a lot to build each character, all of the turtles, splinter, April, and Casey got decent back stories. I hope one day we get something similar to this on the big screen.
