Professor Charlie Thurber (Luke Wilson) loves to teach but can't stand all the politicking that comes with the position. When his candidacy for tenure is announced, he goes out on a limb to prove his worth, but the new teacher on campus (Gretchen Mol) is a shoe-in for the position. Determined to scare her away, Charlie and his numb-skull pal Jay (David Koechner) set out to make her life miserable in this hilarious, star-studded comedy.
