Released in 1991 with a then record budget of $88 million, director James Cameron went all out with big action sequences all throughout the film. The breakthrough technology of computer graphic morphing effects debuted here and won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.

An achievement in action film history. A timeless classic that is often imitated but will never be duplicated. I remember T2 being among the first DVDs I purchased a little over ten years ago mostly because I knew the quality would be there sound and picture wise and speaking of picture, it amazes me how well the effects still hold up 24 years after the film's original release.
