Fun Spin-off movie. I think the secret to liking the movie is not to take it seriously. However I wish they elaborated about how there was a change in the past in the first place a bit more. It's a little like a game plot. But I do feel that this movie is better than the other franchise movies but nothing beats the original movie and T2. It would have been nice if the original cast members like Linda Hamilton could have at least made a guest or cameo appearance. I am not sure so sure about the casting of Sarah Connor since she looked about 14. I remember I went to the 3D ride in Universal Studios. The spin-off story for that is so much better. I remember the ride till this day and queuing up. Maybe the writers should go and research how to make a spin-off movie with some more weight. Dispite this I was entertaining if you just don't think about too much. So, I guess with the review I have.

I caught this film on a flight back from New York this week. I really liked the movie. Action packed right from the start, funny in places, good chemistry between the actors, Amelia Clarke (enough said) and ofcourse Arnie back like he said he would be. The story isn't so much a reboot, retelling the same story we all know but ignoring everything else that has come before it, It's a new story in the terminator timeline with a lot of new twists borrowing from the original films.

Terrible, of course. Still, it's better than Terminator Salvation ... slightly. The Sarah Connor, Kyle Reese, and T-800 here bear no relation to the richly-textured characters that James Cameron created so long ago. This shouldn't even carry the Terminator name it's so untruthful to the tone & quality of the first two films. After T3, this is the second-worst movie in the franchise. If you're a fan, avoid. If not, if this is your first exposure to anything Terminator, you may actually enjoy it.
