As a teenager, an illicit fling with his sexy school teacher catapults Donny Levine into a brief period of borderline notoriety. However, as his fame fizzles out, Donny becomes just another unskilled, unloved, middle-aged loser with debts to pay off. So, when he learns that the progeny of his underage affair is now all grown up and about to marry into a successful family, Donny attempts to reconnect with the son he barely knows, who wants nothing to do with him, and his soon-to-be in-laws.

I love Adam Sandler and I also like Andy Samberg, but I did not like this movie. It consistently grossed me out and the jokes were just corny and awkward. I saw a review treat someone wrote that said something like “it’s like when a friends tells an unfunny joke to a group of people and no one laughs” that’s a good description of what the entire movie felt like for me.

I can deal with vulgar jokes, but, like any other kind of humor, it gets old quickly (the occasional knock-knock joke is good, too, but a movie filled with them from beginning to end would bite the big one). I'd much rather just watch a Sandler SNL skit, with him sitting there acting like an idiot in front of the whole country...and actually being funny as hell doing it (gotta check out the "Cheap Halloween Costume" skit). In short, this film is an utter waste of a great talent.

Obviously trying for shock laughter but didn't do it for me at all... Seems a very desperate attempt at comedy... Adam Sandler lost it a long time ago and doesn't look like he is ever getting it back... total embarrassment for everyone in this movie!!
