When a top-secret weapon falls into mercenary hands, wild-card CIA agent Mason "Mace" Brown (Jessica Chastain) joins forces with rival German agent Marie (Diane Kruger), former MI6 ally and cutting-edge computer specialist Khadijah (Lupita Nyong'o), and skilled Colombian psychologist Graciela (Penélope Cruz) on a lethal mission to retrieve it. The unlikely team must also stay one step ahead of a mysterious woman, Lin Mi Sheng (Bingbing Fan), who is tracking their every move as the action rockets across the globe.

I’m not saying that this movie is The Godfather, or Casablanca by any means. However, it is a thoroughly enjoyable movie, within its genre. There is a plot here, with real characters. It involves themes of Sophie's Choice, trust and relationships, and how gender plays a role within those themes in the 21st century. I’m sorry I let some bad reviews stop me from seeing this movie sooner and I concur on the call for a sequel … the ending is ... interesting 😊

Was really looking forward to this, but it's just... ok. The 355 is basically this decade's Bandidas, but could have been so much more. When I learned that it was a vanity project for Chastain, it all made sense- this began as a desire for her to collaborate with Kinberg to make a spy film without a plot in mind, and boy does it show. Clichéd twists, underdeveloped characters, and an uneven tone that veers unsteadily between Bourne and Ocean's Eleven. Sadly, a fun but forgettable misfire.

This movie is bad, thank you. HOWEVER, Sebastian Stan's performance as guy I can't remember was inspirational. The ending of the movie is something I will remember for the rest if my life. I will not spoil the ending because it impacted me greatly and made me feel like a new man. 10/10 would let any of the women in the movie beat me senseless. May have spent $20 to make a meme out of this movie. Have a good day.
