This was well done. The depiction of a character on the spectrum was pretty spot on. The social skills, the 'stimming', the determination to complete a task. Really reminds me of some of my clients from the last 10 years. I love the message at the end as well. It is one that I hope a lot of parents out there hear. The movie held together some consistent story points and was refreshing with the pace that information was given. Not much of it felt typical and boring. There was some powerful use of music, especially in the scene where the kids are in the car and it is raining. A lot of the movie made me care about Chris, his family and his relationships with other people (at least as much of a relationship as he is comfortable with). The casting wasn't bad. I especially liked the feature of Ron Yuan even if it was short. A few years ago, I never would have thought Ben Affleck had this in him but his performance kept my interest. We need more movies like this where there is a good message, the main character is not very typical, the audience's sense of right and wrong is challenged, and the outcomes in the story does not follow the typical scaffold.

suck me off at the next station please. action and mystery from start to finish. well balanced movie with no real long boring bits. jason bourne type action scenes. the flashbacks during the movie slowly revealing his past whilst connecting to the story in present time is what kept me interested during the entire movie.

Overall, better than expected, certainly better than the Rotten Tomatoes score would indicate. A smattering of good action and the occasional laugh help cover what's not the strongest story.
