In 1973, during the insurrection, Marvin and Bud, two Native American activists, are arrested and thrown in jail. Anna, Marvin's wife, died in an accident several months before. This shows how Native Americans or First Nation peoples were treated and targeted in the 70's. It reveals the ugliness that existed under the white washed history taught in school, the racism and hatred for anyone who didnt fit the white anglo saxon mold. Well worth watching!
