A família Addams é uma sátira da família americana nada ideal: um clã excêntrico e rico que se diverte com o macabro, sem nem saber que as pessoas os acham bizarros ou apavorantes. A primeira aparição da família foi em 150 tirinhas do autor, Addams, e cerca de metade delas foi publicada no The New Yorker desde sua estreia, em 1938, e a morte de Addams, em 1988. Desde então, elas foram adaptadas para outras mídias, incluindo a famosa série de televisão, uma série de filmes e, mais recentemente, um musical da Broadway.

Classificações e críticas

It was watchable, but not really entertaining. Certainly feel I wasted $25 buying tickets to go. Might have been ok if it was on Netflix. The story line is dull, and dragged on, especially considering it was an hour and a half movie and I was looking at my watch by an hour in. Most disappointing movie I have seen in years.

Maybe it is good for children, but this movie just annoyed me. Watchable, but not very entertaining. Think I will stick with the 90's live actions

Thoroughly enjoyed it, my son and I watched this movie and loved it, it wasn't fantastic by any means but I give it 5 stars for the many nods to the classic and the point that we enjoyed it, I will most likely purchase up on release and watch every Halloween with my kids.
