The accuracy of the movie is poor. 1. Yes, Admiral Yi Sun-Sun did face roughly 300 Japanese ships, but he didn't just have 12 ships. He had the support of the Chinese Navy as well. So the whole "only 12 ships left" thing is wrong. 2. He didn't go into a melee until the battle was closing (because he had to save the Chinese Admiral supporting him). For most of the battle he used his superior cannon ships to damage the Japanese ships, which mainly had arqubusie (forgive my spelling) troops and samurai. Which lead to him being killed by a stray arqubusie ball.

It's a good movie with amazing battles, not entirely accurate though. There was actually not as much close combat fighting, and a little exaggerated. However, a reviewer says that it's inaccurate because Yi Sun Shin had the support of the Chinese navy, that is not true. Yi Sun Shin did in fact have only 12 ships in that battle after the Korean navy was decimated under the authority of another naval commander, and not a single Chinese was not present in that battle. I want that to be clear.

This is Must watching Movies of the year. Admiral Lee was the only person positive about winning on battle with Japanese warlord "Hujiyama" . Citizens following his leadership , so as soldiers...... This man is true legend. All characters on movies are real..... I cry too much while I'm watching .but, I don't feel tired of it at all.
