Coloring books have more plot than this movie. The characters are shallow, sheltered, unrealistic, and excruciatingly annoying. It did not age well. Unless it's nostalgic, rent something else.

It occurred to me that I have been watching this movie for over 50 years. It never gets old. It has adventure, romance, and a great plot that leads to an uplifting ending. Good stuff.

Top notch movie. Have actually seen the original boat The African Queen. It's located in Key Largo Florida. Wow!
