Only those who have experienced unrequited love can understand the true depths of pain that Newland archer faces. It was one of best books that I read and Scorsese doesn't disappoint in preserving that in film.

Scorsese, Daniel Day Lewis, what could possibly go wrong??? Only a truly boring but very well acted film that never seems to go anywhere that's all. I kept hoping it would improve but it never did.
