In this animated adventure comedy, The Angry Birds Movie, we'll finally find out why the birds are so angry. The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds – or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red, a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck, and the volatile Bomb have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.

I went into this film not know what to expect, I had heard nothing, from anyone on the film. Going in I thought it was a little slow and no apparent plot line jumped out at me. Having typed that; as the film went on I found it quite funny, easy watch and as films based on games go it was pretty decent. As the plot emerged it was surprising well presented and received. It was exciting and dramatic in places perfect for family viewing and although it does not compare to the likes of Pixar it was a great start

This is way better than i expected, given i initially chalked it off as a "make a quick buck" tie in while the game is still popular. It is funny and genuinely had me laughing out loud at points, watch it for what it is and enjoy it. The kids and I still watch it and giggle even after 4 or 5 times. ive watched a lot worse from bigger studious with bigger budgets and more hype - this is simple, funny and enjoyable

Well I say hated it, it was just boring. I didn't find anything to grip me throughout the film. Perhaps for a younger audience or those who'd prefer a slapstick comedy style this would be for you. Just not to my taste though, the ending was the best bit (no, not because it ended because it actually has a good ending). Unfortunately, in my view, a few hours I won't get back. It kept picking up and when you thought something interesting would happen, it dropped.
