24th December 1994. Algiers Airport. The Air France flight 8969 is hijacked by 4 terrorists from the Armed Islamic Group. A Special Forces team are called on a mission. They have a few hours to stop the hijackers and rescue the 227 passengers. Based on true events and containing real live footage, The Assault is a tense and powerful action film portraying one of the most famous operations from the Special Forces.
